Hillel of Metro Detroit

Hillel of Metro Detroit is a dynamic organization for Jewish college students and young adults (18-29) who live in the metro Detroit area. HMD provides a myriad of programs so everyone can find a place where he/she belongs. HMD offers opportunities to connect with the Jewish community and other Jewish people through interactive programs, both on the six campuses we serve and in the community. HMD is here to help make transitions easier whether from high school to college or college to the workforce. We have it all and want you to be involved.

Reflection Room

There is a multi-faith, non-denominational Reflection Room located on the third floor of the Student Center. This room is not reservable and is open for all to use. Outside the Reflection Room, there are two ablution rooms for student use. The Reflection Room and the ablution rooms are available anytime the Student Center is open.

University Islamic Center of Detroit

Located in Midtown the University Islamic Center of Detroit, also known as Cass Masjid, is a multicultural mosque that serves Wayne State University students and local residents. Being in the heart of Detroit, one of our goals is to be a green space.
